We are all called to live life on mission, and there are many ways that we can serve on the mission field right here in our own city! Signing up for one of our serve opportunities is a tangible way to bring the hope of the gospel and the love of Jesus to our neighbors in the community.

Description:
Arize Together offers ongoing support to women who are committed to a healthy and healing lifestyle following treatment for sexual exploitation and addiction. Serve with Arize Together by providing encouragement and support to these women in a variety of areas.

Sister Ally:
A sister ally is a member's personal touchpoint in the Arize Together community. She meets with her monthly and checks in with her regularly. A sister ally is there for her assigned member on her darkest days and is her biggest cheerleader. A sister ally intentionally prays with and for her member, offering encouragement, discipleship and friendship.

Prayer Team:
Partner with Arize Together by joining their prayer team to pray intentionally and continually for women who have been sexually exploited and are on their journey to healing.

Social Media Team:
Partner with Arize Together as they serve women who are recovering and healing from sexual exploitation and addiction. Arize Together is currently seeking social media volunteers to help provide support with their Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages.

Description:
Partner with us to serve with Beaches Council on Aging during the week as a Volunteer Friendly Caller! The Volunteer Friendly Caller's purpose is to enhance the quality of life of the DIAL A RIDE seniors through supportive, friendly telephone calls to those who may be isolated or lonely.

Description:
Serve alongside Better Together to provide support to families and help prevent the need for foster care! All serve opportunities are listed below:

Host Families
Opening your home to children from families in crisis and providing a safe and loving home while their parents resolve short-term issues

Family Advocates
Serving in a mentoring role to connect with biological families and helping to address the circumstances that led to their crisis

Job Coaches
Provide employment coaching, guidance and support as job seekers work toward finding employment

Resource and Respite Volunteers
Support the needs of host families in various ways like meeting practical needs and providing spiritual support

Location:
City Rescue Mission located at 234 W State Street 32202.

Description:
Come serve homeless men, women and children and those in recovery programs by providing tangible items such as clothing, Bibles, toiletries and shoes.
Donation Items Needed: Gently used clothing, athletic shoes, bedding, travel size toiletries, rolling suitcases and new underclothes.

Description:
Volunteer with Community Health Outreach of Jacksonville at the CHO Food Pantry to serve food to those in need.

Description:
Community Health Outreach offers free services to the uninsured and financially insecure. Parter with them to assist with taking vitals, scribing, assisting with procedures, cleaning and maintaining equipment, preparing exam rooms between patients and answering phones.

Regency Square Mall (Food-Court side)

Description:
Join us as we bless our community with a drive-thru food drive. Just one hour of volunteer work generates exponential meals to feed our neighbors in need. When you give your time, you’re directly contributing to the livelihood of your neighbors. From sorting non-perishable goods in the warehouse to providing groceries at our mobile pantries, with every volunteer opportunity, you make a direct impact on the wellbeing of our community.

Description:
If you are passionate about seeing more women empowered to choose life for their unborn babies, we encourage you to connect with First Coast Women's Services!
You can plan a serve day to clean a center, participate in a baby bottle drive to raise funds, plan a baby shower to provide much-needed material support to the clients of the centers, assemble new believer bags or create baby layette sets. There are so many opportunities to serve both on-site and off-site.

Description:
Hadassah's Hope is a gospel-centered ministry reaching women working in strip clubs in and around Jacksonville, Florida. Hadassah's Hope is committed to ministering to women right where they are and pointing them to Jesus, who is our only hope. You can volunteer in many ways such as writing encouraging notes, providing meals, visiting the clubs and praying for the women there.

Description:
There is an urgency in our community for volunteers for senior adults. Many of them need that special someone to grocery shop, do some light housekeeping or even just companionship. A few seniors require help in lawn maintenance or wheel chair ramp building that would require a group of folks. If you would love to be a blessing to some special seniors, please sign up below.

Description:
Join the ramp team with Hart Felt ministries to build wheelchair ramps and help enrich the lives of seniors.
Prepare to bring along any hand tools/power tools that you may have as well as safety equipment, drinking water and lunch. Participants must be 18 years or older and sign a liability waiver prior to serving.

Description:
Serve local foster families by providing freezer meals. Meals should be placed in disposable aluminum pans and marked with: the date prepared; contents (i.e. Lasagna, Chicken and Rice Casserole); baking time and temperature. The meals will be stored at One More Child and given to foster families who receive new placements, having court appointments.

Description:
Rethreaded Volunteer Thursdays Join the mission to help survivors of human trafficking by serving with Rethreaded on a volunteer Thursday! Serve opportunities include leather deconstruction, warehouse cleaning, t-shirt sorting, and much more.

Description:
Partner with Seamark Ranch to provide support to host families helping bring hope to children in need! This serve opportunity involves preparing two 9x13 casserole meals for each of the four Seamark Ranch houses. Ideally, these are meals that parents can pop into the oven from the freezer, saving time in their busy schedules.

Ronald McDonald House: 824 Childrens Way, Jacksonville, FL 32207

Description:
Join The Will King Foundation in showing love and support to children from developing countries who are receiving heart treatment at Wolfson. Volunteers will visit the CVICU at Wolfson and The Ronald McDonald House. Serve opportunities include bringing a meal, praying with the family or playing with the child if the visit is during their recovery period. Training with the Will King Foundation will be required before volunteers begin to visit families.

Description:
Come serve on the Northside or Arlington area of Jacksonville with a ministry that is strategically focusing on reaching and releasing children from poverty. Join us on Saturdays from 11am-2pm as we impact this community. Every Impact Day is different. You could be in an intense game of kickball, cleaning up the community, helping firing up the grill for their community cookout or just a powerful prayer walk. Serve with Wolfson Children's Hospital weekly by helping doctors and nurses, checking patients in, completing various administrative tasks or serving directly with patients. No prior medical experience is required!
