Creation
In the beginning, God created everything good. He made us for relationship - with Him, with each other, with the world He made. We were never accidents. We were intended.

The Most Important Question
Do you know that a real person died on a real cross for the real you? The empty tomb and breath in your lungs is empirical evidence that God is not done with you. He is offering you the free gift of eternal life. There is nothing you can do to earn it. All you have to do is trust that when Jesus died on the cross, it counted for you. Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior?

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
In the beginning, God created everything good. He made us for relationship - with Him, with each other, with the world He made. We were never accidents. We were intended.
But we walked away. We trusted ourselves more than God. Sin entered, the world fractured, and the relationship we were made for was broken. The wages of sin is death.
But, God did the unthinkable. He sent His own Son, Jesus, to live the life we couldn't and die the death we deserved. On the cross He absorbed our sin. Three days later He walked out of the grave alive.
One day God completes His plan of redemption. Christ returns and reigns over a restored new heaven and new earth, and God's people live in perfect fellowship with Him forever. The story ends where it began - God and His people, together.
Not good advice. Not a self-help program. Not seven steps to a better life. The gospel is news - an announcement that something has happened in history, outside of you, that changes everything.
The first good news is that God created man and woman in His image to live in perfect fellowship with Him forever. We were made for relationship - with Him, with each other, with the world He made. We were never accidents. We were intended.
Then the bad news. We walked away. Every one of us has rejected Him - trusting ourselves and worshiping careers, comfort, romance, our own desires. The Bible calls that sin, and the wages of sin is death, separation from the only source of life there is.
But the better news comes last. While we were still running, God came running after us. Jesus, the Son of God, put on flesh and came to Earth. He lived the perfect life we never could. He was beaten, bruised, and crucified on a Roman cross where He absorbed the wrath we deserve. He died and was buried in a borrowed tomb. On the third day, He rose from the grave, defeating death once and for all. He ascended to the right hand of the Father in Heaven, where He is alive today!
Salvation is not something you earn by being good enough or religious enough or moral enough. It is a gift you receive by trusting in what Jesus has already done. That trust changes everything - your past, your present, your forever.
“But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
