Mid-Term Sending provides a pathway to serve alongside Global Partners, gaining real-world ministry experience and guidance.
Are you being
called to go?
At The Church of Eleven22, we believe that discovering and deepening your faith involves movement, choices and intentionally living your life on a mission. Are you at a stage in life where God is showing you how your studies, work or retirement can greatly benefit His kingdom? Is God calling you to leverage your time, talents and treasures in full-time ministry to those who have not heard the good news of Jesus or are in desperate need of love, encouragement and discipleship?
If God is calling you to serve on the mission field, we would love to connect with you on the application, training and sending process of being sent as a long-term missionary through The Church of Eleven22.

Why do we go on short-term mission?
+
The Great Commission is for everyone. We are called to be disciple-making-disciples. You play a key role in serving God's people by pointing them to Jesus and encouraging them in their faith. God doesn't need us to accomplish His mission, but He allows us to play a small role in His great movement around the world.
In order to go and make disciples, we partner with churches, people and organizations who are already advancing the gospel throughout the nations. Our role on a short-term mission trip is to serve our partners. By coming under their vision, we help the overall impact go further, faster. It's all for the purpose of the one mission, to make Jesus known.
We are on mission for multiple reasons:
- ·To share the gospel and build up the local church
- ·To empower and encourage our partners
- ·For personal transformation
- ·As a next step in our faith journey
- ·To worship our heavenly Father and bring glory to His name
How do I choose a trip?
+
There are multiple factors to take into consideration when choosing a trip. Pray and ask God for direction and confirmation as you consider this opportunity and where He would have you go. We encourage you to consider the locations and people groups and whether there is a trip you are specifically drawn to or a time of year that works best with your schedule. We also offer domestic or international trips and various trip levels depending if this is your first, second or third time going on mission.
What is the age minimum to participate on a short-term trip?
+
- ·Family Trips: 7 years old.
- ·Student Trips: 6 – 12 grade.
- ·1825 Trips: 18 – 25 years old.
- ·Adult Trips: 18 years old.
Refer to each trip registration page as some exceptions apply. If you have specific circumstances, email our team at [email protected] to discuss.
How will I know my application was received?
+
You will receive a confirmation email from our Mission Portal after submitting your application. This confirms that Eleven22 has received your application. Once your application has been submitted, your Team Leader will review the application, and pending a confirmed background check (18+), you will be notified once it is approved.
Due to the large volume of applications being processed, please allow at least 7-10 days for approval. Your deposit will not be charged until your application has been reviewed and processed by your Team Leader.
If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us at [email protected].
Who goes on trips?
+
As a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ, we aim to provide options that make sense for everyone. The majority of our trips do not require specific criteria to qualify. However, some are better suited for first-timers, specific skill sets, etc. Please check the registration page for complete requirements.
Please explore our short-term trip bios to choose the best fit for you.
Where do I get the money to go on a trip?
+
All team members are financially responsible for the cost of the trip but are encouraged to do so by raising support. Once approved on the team, you will have access to a Support-Raising Guide and your team leaders will help you walk through this process.
We believe that support raising is a discipleship opportunity first and foremost. Therefore, we ask that team members raise individual funds by writing letters to friends and family sharing the goal of the trip and the financial requirements to make the trip happen.
We believe the Lord will simultaneously use your story to inform those in your sphere of influence on how He is moving in your life and around the world.
Even if you are capable of paying for your trip, we ask that you participate in the support-raising process to invite others into how God is moving in you, your team and the partners we serve. While you are individually responsible, we ask that you see the team's need as the ultimate goal. Your excess could be someone else on the team's provision.

How do I create an account if I am under the age of 13 and traveling solo?
+
As a minor under the age of 13, you will need your parent or guardian to create a profile in our Mission Portal first. After their profile is complete, they will be able to add the minor (under the age of 13) as an additional family member to their account. When applying for a Student Trip (for a minor under 13 and traveling without the parent/guardian), be sure to choose the student profile and complete the application as the student.
To create a profile:
- ·Log on to your Mission Portal Account (https://coe22.servicereef.com)
- ·Go to your dashboard and select My Family from the left navigation
- ·Click on Add Family Member
- ·Complete the basic information for the family member. You will need to create a unique username. You may use the same email account for all family members.
Once you have completed and saved your changes, you will see your family member's additional profile and be able to switch between accounts by selecting the arrow next to your profile picture and select from the list below. Be sure to choose the student's profile before filling out the application.
Can I use my travel points / rewards?
+
Unfortunately, this is not an option. Airfare and hotel accommodations vary per trip and are not guaranteed with a specific airline or hotel chain.
In order to keep our trip costs affordable; the Short-term Sending staff purchase a team's airfare as a group, with unique fares and we are unable to manage the details of individual circumstances.
Once your tickets are purchased, we encourage you to contact the airline on your own to have your flights applied to your airline miles.
What if I don't have a passport?
+
You can still apply for your trip. Please proceed with your trip application using “placeholder information” and apply for a passport now. After you receive your new passport, update your Managed Missions account with that information.
If your passport expires less than six months after your departure date, you will need to renew your passport as soon as possible. Additionally, if you have a non-U.S. passport, you are responsible to acquire your own visa in order to travel internationally (if applicable).
What can I do to prepare?
+
- ·Pray: For your leaders, your team, our partners and all the people the Lord will have you meet through this experience.
- ·Apply: Complete the online application.
- ·Passport: Apply now. If your passport expires less than six months after your departure date, you will need to renew your passport as soon as possible.
- ·Immunizations: Visit cdc.gov/travel for information regarding vaccinations suggested for your country of travel.
- ·Research: Visit our partners' website to learn more about the organization and local people you will be serving.
How soon should I get my vaccinations?
+
You can contact the local travel clinic and your primary care physician to learn the best time frame depending on your travel dates, destination and necessary vaccinations.
What does the “launched from” trip description mean?
+
We are one church in many locations. A great way to stay connected in this big faith family is by being sent as a community alongside the people that you're doing life with at the campus you attend.
In an effort to help you stay connected to your community, each of our mission trips will be launched from a specific campus. This means that the trip leaders and participants for each trip will be primarily from the launched from campus.
*Please note: If you attend a different campus than the launched from campus listed on a trip, you are still more than welcome to apply!
