A Place to Discover and Deepen
The movement of Eleven22 expanded to South Georgia as God provided an opportunity to steward a historic property for the sake of the gospel and future generations.
The Story Behind the Property
The Retreat Center is part of a larger property formerly called Cabin Bluff, founded in 1928 and historically used as a hunting and fishing lodge. The larger property was purchased by The Nature Conservancy in 2018 to protect the site's endangered, threatened, and rare plants and animals and to ensure long-term conservation.
In 2020, through God's providence and provision, we had the opportunity to partner with a few individuals and organizations to purchase the Retreat Center land and facilities at a deeply discounted price. Since before the 2012 launch of Eleven22, this property has held a unique place in the life of our church - God has worked through countless retreats and times of prayer to shape and grow us as a movement for all people.
We are excited to be part of treasuring this unique property for generations to come, and we pray our stewardship will glorify God and be used by Him for one more to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.
