01How to read today
The passage for Friday, January 3, 2025 is loaded in the plan. We don't republish the Scripture here - we point you to it. Open the app, find January 3, 2025 in the plan, and let the chapter set your tempo.
Read it twice. The first time, read it like a story. The second time, read it like a letter written for you, today, in this exact moment of your life. Underline the verb that hits you. Star the name you don't recognize. Write down the question it asks.
Then pray it back. Take the one phrase that landed and turn it into a sentence to God. Carry it. Notice how it surfaces in conversations later in the day.
A short practice
- 01Sit somewhere quiet. Phone face down. Bible or app in hand.
- 02Pray a one-line invitation: “Lord, what do you want me to see?”
- 03Read the passage. Slowly. Twice.
- 04Write one sentence about what stood out.
- 05Pray it back. Then go live the day.
