Membership at Eleven22 is a covenant - a mutual promise between a believer and a local body to follow Jesus together. One Saturday. Four commitments. A family.
Why Bother?A short answer
Because the church
is a body, not a building.
The New Testament knows nothing of an uncommitted Christian. Every disciple in Scripture belongs to a particular body, under particular shepherds, with particular brothers and sisters they show up for week after week.
Membership is not a club. It is a covenant - a mutual promise between a believer and a local body to live the Christian life together, with all the weight of what that actually requires.
At Eleven22, becoming a member means: I am committing my attendance, my service, my generosity, my prayers, and my presence to this church. And the leaders of this church are committing their shepherding, their teaching, their prayers, and their care to me.

By praying for the growth of the church, by inviting the unchurched to come, by warmly welcoming those who visit, and by speaking well of Eleven22 inside and outside its walls.
