The Church of Eleven22 offers Care Training twice each year, spring and fall, with the purpose of equipping lay leaders to come alongside those who are hurting and walking through difficult seasons of life. Care Training is offered in two distinct tracks:
Track 1: Care Team
The mission and vision of the Care team is to support the Eleven22 pastors in providing pastoral care and ministry to the church body. Mature followers of Jesus who are committed to the mission and vision of Eleven22 will be trained and equipped to serve the church body through 1:1 care, prayer and visitation.
Care Training is an eight-week training designed to equip and prepare individuals to serve in this role. Those who feel called to be part of the Care team will also complete an application process, background check and interview and will be commissioned at our Quarterly Care Gathering at the end of the training.
To serve on the Care team, completion of Growth Track is required prior to registering for Care Training. Growth Track is designed to help you get connected, understand the mission and vision of Eleven22 and discern how God may be calling you to serve. Track 2: Ministry Equipping
Care Training is also offered for individuals seeking supplemental ministry equipping and training. Participants take part in the same eight-week training with the goal of further growth and enrichment as they serve in other roles, ministry capacities or simply to gain practical tools to better care for those around them.
This track is open to anyone who would like to grow in caring for others. No application process, background check or interview is required.
