Marriage Mentoring.
At The Church of Eleven22, we care about seeing your marriage be all that God intended it to be.

mentor couple.
The Church of Eleven22 has trained marriage mentor couples who care deeply about seeing your marriage be all that God intended it to be. If you are a married couple, and both of you desire to enrich your marriage or grow through some current challenges, please fill out this questionnaire together (one per couple) and someone will reach out to touch base and start the process of connecting you with one of our trained mentor couples.
Please consider the following program commitments and FAQ before filling out the questionnaire
- Must currently be married and each spouse must be ready to commit to the process
- Commitment to 1.5-hour meetings weekly for 6-10 mostly consecutive weeks
- Commitment to drive weekly to in-person meetings
- Commitment to complete assigned 'homework' each week
- Payment of $100 fee required to cover digital materials and requested upon assignment
*Sometimes the connection process can take time as our mentor couples' availability is determined. In addition and due to high demand, please expect the possibility of a waitlist. Please see our Retreats and Encounters for additional opportunities to grow your marriage!

If you're interested in becoming an Eleven22 marriage mentor couple, we are excited to help you explore this impactful ministry! Potential mentor couples are invited to walk through an application and vetting process to help determine if your marriage is in a healthy place to help others strengthen and enrich their marriages.

Please consider the following program commitments before reaching out
- Have been married for at least five years
- Regular attendees of Church of Eleven22 and have completed Covenant Membership
- Heart to serve
- Good communicators and listeners
- Strong in faith
- Genuine and authentic
- Empathetic and compassionate
- Trustworthy and able to keep confidence
- Willing to complete background check
- Care Training highly recommended as supplemental training
Common
questions.
01What about premarital? Can we enter this program as an engaged couple?
At this time we are only taking married couples. If you are interested in finding out more about premarital counseling through The Church of Eleven22, please contact us.
02Can we be mentored virtually? We are unable to drive each week.
Our mentors are only available in person at this time. If you are absolutely unable to commit to an in-person meeting with us, the curriculum we use offers online live video mentoring and in other cities through other churches who use the same curriculum. Click here to learn more.
03What if we can't afford $100?
We encourage you to do your best to budget in a way that will allow you to work on the things that matter most. If you are in a dire situation, please contact your campus pastor to set up a meeting and explore benevolence.
04What if we can only meet every other week? Or one spouse travels?
There could be some flexibility with our mentor couples if you are both committed to the program. When you are paired, communicate potential conflicts up front to expedite scheduling.
05What should I expect in these meetings?
Both couples meet weekly for the duration of the program. You can expect an experienced couple to walk alongside you as you address specific issues such as communication, parenting, intimacy, and core heart issues. The mentors serve as mediators, not professional counselors. Their role is to walk alongside you using the mentoring method while pointing you to the gospel.
06What if my spouse isn't ready to commit but I am?
For our program to be effective, both spouses need to commit to participate with authenticity, honesty and engagement. If your spouse isn't ready, we encourage you to continue praying for your spouse and also consider requesting care and prayer from our Care Team, so that someone can walk alongside you one-on-one as you navigate this season.
07Will I be connected to a mentor couple right away?
It may take some time to connect you with a mentor couple due to potential waitlists or factors such as availability in your area at the time of the request.

Our desire is to come alongside you in this season and assist you in taking a step in finding hope and healing in Jesus. Whether your marriage is in crisis, you or a family member is struggling with addiction, illness, grief/loss or anything in between, we're here for you.
