Wk 5: S2:E5: Judge Not
What did Jesus really mean when He said, “Judge not”? In Matthew 7, Jesus confronts the judgmental spirit that so easily takes root in our hearts and calls His followers to something better—a life marked by grace, humility, and discernment.
In this message, we explore the difference between being judgmental and exercising biblical discernment, why dealing with the “log” in our own eye matters before pointing out the “speck” in someone else’s, and how the grace of God transforms the way we see people. Ultimately, Jesus invites us to stop living as critics and start living as people shaped by grace.
Through prayer, humility, and surrender to Christ, we can step off the broad road of pride and onto the narrow way that leads to life.
