This Week’s Action Step:
Through this series, allow God’s Word to renew your mind and the Holy Spirit to transform you to be more like Christ. Commit to be intentional in deepening a relationship with God over the next 14 weeks by:

• Confessing is simply telling the truth. When you tell God the truth about your sin you are acknowledging that you need Him and that you trust Him.
• Confess sin in your life by writing it down and going to the altar to pray.

If you are new to confession, pray this simple prayer:

Lord, I confess my ________________. This sin is trying to kill me, and I need Your help. Please forgive me of my sin against You. Help me to believe what You have said about Yourself and about me. Give me the strength to turn away from my sin and trust You. Amen.
