Safe Families – Mentoring/Family Support

Serve Opportunity Description: Partner with Safe Families by supporting families in your community who need a strong support system. They are looking for anyone passionate about helping struggling families in an attempt to keep children out of the foster care system. Opportunities include;

Family Friend: Connect with either a parent (to provide friendship and support) or a child (mentorship or child care NOT in your own home), including transportation. 

Family Coach: Come alongside families to help them reach their goals, monitor children in volunteer’s homes, and support Host Families and Family Friends. 

Peer Supporter: Support and coming alongside a parent (no child care or transportation).
