Serve Opportunity Description:
Safe Harbor Boys Home is looking for men willing to lend their skills and strength to support their program. Volunteer opportunities include: light carpentry repairs on decks and railings, yard work such as trimming shrubs and clearing vines, washing boat exteriors to prepare them for boys moving aboard, basic boat maintenance (changing batteries, wiring bilge pumps, and repairing 12V lighting) and organizing a large vocational education shop. Your service will help create safe, functional spaces and prepare boats for the young men who will soon call them home.
