Hart Felt Ministries – Gift Bags For Senior Adults

Serve Opportunity Description:
Many seniors in our community experience isolation and have limited access to basic necessities. Assembling gift bags at home with your family or friends is a meaningful way to offer practical support and to remind these elders that they are seen, valued and not forgotten. Toiletry items can be purchased at dollar stores to keep costs low. Suggested items include:

• Small tissue packets
• Lip balm (Chapstick)
• Toothpaste & toothbrush
• Soap or body wash
• Shampoo & conditioner
• Hand sanitizer
• Wet wipes
• Band-aids
• Nail file
• Hand lotion
• Comb or brush
• Fuzzy socks
• Large-print word search or crossword puzzles
• A sweet note or encouraging card
