Serve Opportunity Description:
Serve Youth Preparing for Their Future
Support teens (ages 14-18) with foster care experience as they prepare for employment and independence.
Volunteer opportunities include:

Share your career journey as a guest speaker

Help students build and edit resumes

Assist with interview attire selection at Hope’s Closet

Lead mock interviews with encouragement and feedback

Teach hygiene and professional presentation skills (hair, fashion and makeup)
Your presence helps create a safe, confidence-building environment that restores dignity and prepares students for what is next.

Dates:
June 1–5, 2026 (Volunteers may serve one day or multiple days depending on availability.)
Time:
General volunteer arrival is 8:45am, with the program running from 9am-3pm. Specific arrival times will depend on assigned tasks. Guest speakers and hygiene/styling volunteers will be scheduled within designated time blocks and will receive detailed instructions in advance.
