Serve Opportunity Description:
Serve Youth Preparing for Their Future
Support teens (ages 14-18) with foster care experience as they prepare for employment and independence.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Share your career journey as a guest speaker

• Help students build and edit resumes

• Assist with interview attire selection at Hope’s Closet

• Lead mock interviews with encouragement and feedback

• Teach hygiene and professional presentation skills (hair, fashion and makeup)

Your presence helps create a safe, confidence-building environment that restores dignity and prepares students for what is next.

Dates:
June 1–5, 2026 (Volunteers may serve one day or multiple days depending on availability.)

Time:
General volunteer arrival is 8:45am, with the program running from 9am-3pm. Specific arrival times will depend on assigned tasks. Guest speakers and hygiene/styling volunteers will be scheduled within designated time blocks and will receive detailed instructions in advance.
