We did not want to be the limiting factor, but wanted to step out in faith on what God had in store for us. It became time to rebuild and restore a building as God continued to restore His people through the expanding work in and through The Church of Eleven22. After the purchase of the San Pablo campus there was 25,000 square feet of unfinished Walmart space.
Through this discipleship journey we came together to build out office space for a growing staff, add a 500 seat sanctuary for our growing community and most importantly to double the size of our kids space, so that we had enough room to not turn families away and run a gospel-centered children’s program.
Through the Restore Project we focused on the Scripture from Acts 15:16-18:
“‘After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it, that the remnant of mankind may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who makes these things known from of old.’
