Villages of Hope – Run for Hope 5K
Serve Opportunity Description:
Make a meaningful impact by supporting Villages of Hope’s Run for Hope 5K. This annual race raises awareness for anti-human trafficking and supports women seeking freedom from trafficking, addiction, and exploitation. Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles:
- Registration Team (6:30am – 6 volunteers): Check in runners using the 1st Place Sports system and hand out race packets.
- Water Station Crew (7:15am – 6–8 volunteers): Hand out water and cheer runners along the route.
- Post-Race Refreshments (7:15am – 6–8 volunteers): Set up and distribute snacks, fruit, and water at the finish line.
- Awareness Advocates (7:15am – 6–8 volunteers): Stand along the route holding signs to promote anti-human trafficking awareness.
Make a difference on race day and help create a powerful impact for women rebuilding their lives. This opportunity is family-friendly with adult supervision.
