Lutheran Social Services is receiving many Afghan allies who are being resettled right in our community. There are numerous ways that you can get involved! Serve opportunities include but are not limited to donations, transportation and mentoring. Learn more and sign-up to help and bless these refugees!

Sponsored By Grace - Family Friendly

Come serve on the Northside or Arlington area of Jacksonville with a ministry that is strategically focusing on reaching and releasing children from poverty. Join us on Saturdays from 11am-2pm as we impact this community. Every Impact Day is different. You could be in an intense game of kickball, cleaning up the community, helping firing up the grill for their community cookout or just a powerful prayer walk. City Rescue Mission

Serve a meal in the homeless shelter, answer phones and welcome guests at the reception desk or assist with donations at the Thrift Store. Great volunteer opportunities for youth, disciple groups, seniors and more. Click the link below for more information and to reserve a date and time slot that works for you.

HerSong Meals

Each year, HerSong reaches hundreds of women who are victims of trafficking. We can help by providing meals for these women as they are entering a new phase of life. HerSong is asking for freezer meals for the safe homes. Meals should be placed in disposable aluminum pans and marked with the date prepared, content information (i.e. Lasagna, Chicken and Rice Casserole), baking time and temperature. Since delivery is confidential, please email courtney@hersongjax.org to organize.

Mission House

Serving the homeless population at Jax Beach one meal a day, they are seeking volunteers to make box lunches and drop them off to Mission House before noon on Mondays - Saturdays.

Hartfelt Ministries

Tangible serve opportunity for seniors in your community. Seniors are feeling isolated and would love some help in the areas of companionship, grocery shopping and light housekeeping.

One More Child Meals

Serve local foster families by providing freezer meals. Meals should be placed in disposable aluminum pans and marked with: the date prepared; contents (i.e. Lasagna, Chicken and Rice Casserole); baking time and temperature. The meals will be stored at One More Child and given to foster families who receive new placements, having court appointments.

Hadassah's Hope

Hadassah's Hope is a gospel-centered ministry reaching women working in strip clubs in and around Jacksonville, Florida. Hadassah's Hope is committed to ministering to women right where they are and pointing them to Jesus, who is our only hope. You can volunteer in many ways such as writing encouraging notes, providing meals, visiting the clubs and praying for the women there.

Charis House Lawn Maintenance

Serve with Bring Your Brokenness each week in November and December by mowing, weed-eating, blowing, etc. to help keep the property safe and beautiful.

Bring Your Brokenness is providing a safe environment for those who struggle with eating disorders to find hope and healing for life transformation through God’s Word. They are located at 87616 Roses Bluff Rd., Yulee, FL 32097.

Salvation Army Meal Ministry

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Their mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Partner with them to distribute pre-made/pre-packaged meals to the community members in need! To serve you must be 18 or older. Email Heaven Cleckler for more information.
