The Church Planting Residency is a nine-month program that we equip, resource, and send church planters to launch thriving, gospel-centered, multiplying new churches. The residency is designed for the church-planter who is 12-18 months out from launching his church, but believes it would serve him, his family, and his church well to spend a concentrated season of learning and preparing to plant. While in the residency, church planters will:
- Receive training, equipping, resourcing, care, and time to work through the theological, missiological, and practical aspects of church planting while being exposed to daily mission and ministry.
- Grow as prophet (preaching and teaching), priest (pastoral and relational), and king (leadership, strategy, and administration).
- Hone the plant’s church’s mission, vision, values, strategy, and culture.
- Advance in gospel fluency as it relates to leadership and counseling.
- Develop plans and structures for leadership, staffing, and ministries.
- Gain experience in preaching, teaching, worship, and discipleship.
- Grow a core group and financial supporters.
- Prepare for and go through the Acts29 Church Planter Assessment.
- Grow in a personal relationship with Jesus.
