This Encounter is led by real, authentic women who are not trying to prove anything but rather sit in the presence of the Lord together with other believers. We will have time of worship through singing, learning about God’s character through His Word, and discussing what the Bible says about Jesus being King, Lord, Savior, and Friend. We will laugh, eat, rest, and connect with God and others. We hope you will join us!

Who can attend?
Any woman age 18 or older (some exceptions apply with mothers and teenage daughters). Whether you are new to the church, to the faith, or have been following God for a long time we want you there!
Why are the room prices different?
This year we are trying something new. We have a tiered price in hopes that more women are able to attend. The $450 room is for a single occupant and will be in a hotel room in the Turner Lodge on the water. The $325 room is for double occupants and these rooms will be in the Turner Lodge or the Robertson Inn. The $275 room will be for triple occupants staying in the Robertson Lodge with 2 Queen beds. The $200 room will be for quadruple occupants staying in the Robertson Lodge with 2 Queen beds. Each room will have a mini fridge and microwave. You can view Epworth rooming photos and info HERE
Can we pick our own roommate?
There will be a space on the form for you to write in the name of your preferred roommate(s). If you do not have a preferred roommate, we will assign you one. Please not in the triple and quadruple rooms you will share a bed.
*If you are being paired with a roommate by us we will connect you with that woman via email prior to the Encounter.
Who is teaching?
Caitlin Armstrong and Ali Parsons, Eleven22 Ministers will be teaching the main sessions and there will be several other teachers (staff and lay leaders) leading breakout sessions on various topics.
What are the breakout topics?
This year we will offer topics about navigating the season of a prodigal child, living in freedom from shame, abiding in Christ in the mundane and more. You will choose 2 breakouts to attend and then there will be an option to attend mini follow-up sessions to pray and process what the Lord is showing you. Breakout descriptions and speaker bios will be sent out a week before the Encounter.
When is check in and check out?
Check in will start at 4pm and dinner will start at 6pm on Friday, Oct 11. Check out will be at 11am am on Sunday, Oct 13.
What is the food like?
Food will be served in the dining hall and is buffet style. Standard hot breakfast and yogurt bar, sandwiches and salad bar for lunch, and standard meat, veggie, starch dinners. Details on exact meals will be known closer to the Encounter. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available. The food does not come from a five-star restaurant but it is good and there are many options.
What will we be doing at this Encounter?
We will have multiple large group gatherings with worship and teaching, conference style breakout sessions with various topics to choose from, and free time for you to rest and recharge. You will meet other women from the church and have time to eat together and have some fun! The grounds of Epworth are right on the water. It is a beautiful and peaceful place with a camp style feel.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Payment in full is due by October 1 and no refunds after Oct 1.
